New Tropical Pond

what a spectacular pond so far one question for you when you putting one of them in my yard for free? lol no but seriously it look's fantastic can't wait to see the finished project.

I really appreciate all of the support. This pond/pool project has a lot of factors coming together to make this whole thing happen. I think it all started with my Biologist father. My sister has actually written me a letter asking I my wife divorced me yet and that my dad owes her an apology because these are his genes that are being expressed with this project. I spent countless summers in Minnesota tagging along behind him while he was censusing birds and studying the prairies. I would find the closest pond, river or marsh and start looking for frogs, fish, crayfish, or whatever. I was always fascinated with water and whatever was in it. Now I'm all grown up and I still have that desire to be around water. The only difference is that I have a wife and two little kids. My wife wanted a regular chlorine pool with a heater, zero algae, and zero or less animal life. I wanted the largest fish possible and the opportunity to be right next to them. I guess you will all see how this project evolves and what we eventually end up with. Oh by he way, I can't figure out how to get the frican favorite fish by my avatar changed. Like I just really love the Crayfish. I just saw that it changes. Now its the Senegal Bichir.

I am sorry i was a little late seeing this thread but i am so glad i did not miss it ....wholly smokes it is a masterpiece... congradulations... for all your hard work... years and years of enjoyment...
