Not too many options for above-ground animals. Frogs are the obvious choice, but I would not do that with Poly's. It also needs to be warm water, so that doesn't give much breathing room either. How big will the island be?
The island isn't built yet... so it depends^^
Depnding on the wood and stones i can get. May it will be just a shallow with some wood rising out of the water.
And i think there is always the possibility to enlarge the island or add some floating wood / a turtle island.

I told my self "you buy no new fish, until you've moved".
But now and then there is this one fish you can't resist.
I'm awaiting the shipment tomorrow and i think i will make a "whats in the box" thread.
I'm curious who can guess it ?

Ok, so no softshell...
But i really like the thought of a turtle in the tank ?
Could you suggest another, more gentle turtle?
Definitely not a soft shell lol those guys will snap at anything they see. I’d say a Fly River or another idea that I don’t see much of could be to have a structure that the fish can use as a hide but that pops out of the water to make a platform for a green basilisk or smaller aquatic turtles
