Add the last rotkiel, the jag, all convicts except the biggest male and a GT. The bigger GT's look ok, the Oscar is ok, pleco and silver dollars show no signs of anything. None of the fish showed outward signs of disease except some reddening around the gills. Parameters still show fine. Just did another big water change, added melafix and increased circulation. This sucks that all these fish are dieing off, that I don't know why, and that I'm talking to myself.

Pond update. Current residents: 1x 15" Pacu,9x 5-6" Silver Dollars, 1x Red Devil, 1x Pangassius cat, 1x Rhino pleco, 1x misc cichlid possibly lyonsi. Water temps have dropped to the mid 60's with one small heater and a tarp cover. Pacu, cat, RD hide near pumps. Silver dollars seem unaffected and still school throughout pond. Ordering bigger heater today so RTCxTSN can join the group. Also increased filter size from five gallon bucket to a 32 gallon can.

The filtration upgrade may help w/the die off. Much more BB. The redding of the gills should be solved w/increased temp. and maybe add some salts.

So got the new heater installed. Put the RTCxTSN into his new home today. He was not happy about the move. After putting him in I watched for a while and saw a small surviving cichlid the size of his tail start posturing and trying to chase him off. Hopefully can catch him before he becomes a snack. Discovered that there is also a 3 inch suncat still in there. Tonight go out to look under subdued light and the cat and pacu are doing laps together. Then the cat veers off to check under some vegetation. Being so big and the plant not being attached it looked like one of those old comedies where the bush sneaks up on you. Guess you had to be there.

Check Carigslist for free above ground pools. I've got a buddy that has one for free. Just toook it down a couple weeks ago, has it stored in another buddies barn. I told him to try E-bay or craigs to get rid of it.
