Sorry to hear about the fish deaths... I fell over laughing seing the pictures of when you "decorated" it; after that, it looked nothing like an odd-colored plastic shelf with a bucket on it sitting in a kiddie pool! Just wanted to say awesome pond, and what is all this business about a ghetto pond league?

Glad I could provide amusement. As to the other, it is a pond, Target is about as ghetto as you get(I'm sure someone will disagree, but it's my thread), but there in no such thing as a Ghetto Pond League. Leagues were abolished by the ruling government body.

Pretty cold last night too. Have an 800 watt heater going and put a tarp over it. Water stayed around 70 degrees. Everyone is fine so far.
Water temp was at 66 this morning. Took tarp off and most are swimming around fine. The pacus are huddled around the pumps, the SD's and ID's are swimming, and the midas and big cat are cuddled up together in the center. Last night while putting tarp on one of the pacu freaked and jumped out of the pond. He went about five feet through the opening and into the yard almost hitting a dog. The dog looked like,"Cool, they deliver sushi", but I got it back before he could taste test. So far so good.
