now i am thinking of redoing the ca/sa

1 oscar
1 severum
1 texas
1 convict
1 firemouth
few bristlenose plecos or rubber nose ( depending on whats available )
few schools of barbs

actually i dont think ill have any plecos/barbs ( maybe some danios ) if i do an sa/ca tank, i think ill do this:

1 oscar
1 severum
1 texas
1 jack dempsey
1 convict
1 firmeouth

and call it stocked with maybe 12 danios... how does that seem?

I feel like eventually those Danios will get eaten by the oscar. I guess they're cheap enough to replace though

haha yeah. .99 cents and some being .50 cents.

IMO with the Texas and jack I would say that's to much. I would maybe try sev oscar and jack, and if that the jack will probably kill the sev depending on size

I think your last list is good. I don't think the JD will mess with the sev, especially with a couple tougher cichlids in there.

uh...nothing...

sold my two 55s, now i just have my 5 gallon shrimp tank. thinking of setting up my other 5 gallon with another specie of shrimp, right now i have a dozen ( maybe more ) fire red shrimp, and now looking into another specie, which would you look into?

my interest in fish has been decreasing lately, so getting out for awhile, but staying with shrimps.
