Equal protection plays no favorites. Striping a name is very different from enabling students to attend school.

once again...you have your facts 100% WRONG,,,,NOBODY stripped the nickname from the owner of the redskins....THEY HAVE ALLOWED ....ANYBODY TO USE THE LOGO FOR PROFIT..NOTHING MORE.... and what in the does STANFORD'S name change have to do with the other DOZEN'S of college & high school name changes of the 80's..it was a MOVEMENT..that the GOVT . encouraged..nice little human interest story you found though..FUNNY HOW YOU CONTINUE TO IGNORE the fact that 32 nfl owners (including SNYDER)ARE ALLOWED TO DO BUSINESS AS A NON PROFIT(DESPITE MAKING BILLIONS)....HOW IS THAT EQUAL UNDER THE LAW?...c'mon defend it..lol...
 
I've brought up the NFLs non profit status as well in the past Lee, same exact thing, no answer, no acknowledgement, no questions, no NOTHING. Is this only ridiculous to you and me? Idk, This irritates the most about some pro sports, never wanting to get outside the game. Seriously I don't
care what your history with your sports team is, come at everyone with that arrogant attitude, and it won't be long till things escalate beyond a ball game.

NFL's nonprofit status has nothing to do with a government agency infringing on free speech.
