In my 28 gal nano. Cycle is complete and water parameters look perfect.

Ammo 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrate maybe 1
Phosphate 0-.1
Calcium 400
Kh 10
Ph 8.1
Lights on for 12 hours a day

I added cleaner inverts yesterday

Will the algea start to slow down in time?

I haven't seen my 2 peppermint shrimp since I added them to the tank. all the other crabs and snails Are cleaning slowly but surely

It's likely showing zero because the hair algae is feeding off of it. The algae should slow down overtime as it balances out.

Sorry Canuck. I forgot to mention I have cheato in the refuge now.

I hope it slows down soon. Not the prettiest sight

:iagree: this is exactly whats happening, if you have cheeto like you say, and if you have something picking at it (be that snails fish or hermits) then it will slowly go away untill its gone.

You would probably have better results with a lawnmower blenny but hey you can stock w/e you want as its your tank! lol. Good luck with the algea.
