What I was saying was that was complete crap is buying from Petsmart can end up costing more in care. That can be said about any store. Typically the worst you are gonna see is ick which can be fixed with out ever having to shell out a penny. I understand you had a bad experience with them that has soured you on the whole thing but that could have happened anywhere.

Yeah that one is a keeper. If it turns out female you could breed it back to the dad if you still have it or another male texas.

Lol the silver one was not what i was going for its just a bonus oddball. :) It's not a true red texas but it has passed all my previous sorts where I focus a lot on body shape. The only statement I made was look at this fish its pearly and red without fading.

Do you have red texas that could possibly turn out like this?uploadfromtaptalk1332804411479.jpg I mentioned before on another thread I don't know a lot about these fish or Flowerhorn lines yet so is this a Texas or Flowerhorn bred to look like red texas? Do you have pics of adult red texas anywhere?

It's cool man. I'm alright with it in this thread. I made the mistake of voicing my opinion on this subject in another thread and they were not happy :) I did want to post a reply with a link to the flowerhorn care sticky - reply to the person in that thread who said something about their shiny new flowerhorn destroying their cons and bps lol.
