I vote, 1 FX5, 2 AC110's, and a few powerheads to push some water around. The AC110's give you alot for your money.

you got 300 gallons to work with and all you can think of is one aro, oscar, and 2 or 3 firemouths.....haha cram some fish in there man (only kidding) but i do believe you could house far more than that if you wanted

the thing about the ac110's is that i dont like the way the hobs look

would i need a whole other fx5 or is there a smaller canister that would work?

are you sure? i thought an arow could get to like 3' long. i was under the impression that i could just barely hold 1 arow in that tank

Drill the tank and use overflows with a diy wet/dry...

:iagree:

on my 300 i have a 55gal sump w/ mag 12 and 2 ac 110's. seems to get the job done. oh and a couple koralia (sp?) powerheads to move things around a bit.
