Please take a moment to read all of this, VERY SERIOUS STUFF:

North Korean missile test was conducted on July 5, 2006 (Korean time). North Korea reportedly fired six separate missiles[1]. These included two short-range Nodong-2 missiles, one Scud missile and up to two long-range Taepodong-2 missiles[2], believed to be capable of reaching portions of the western United States, including Alaska. Some, including Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer, believed that North Korea would carry out additional missile tests in the days that followed[3].

Russia:
According to Russia's Foreign Ministry official representative Mikhail Kaminin, the test-launch is "an act of provocation" which will impede Six-party talks and further "complicate situation around North Korean nuclear program".[13]
Australia:

USA:
Christopher Hill, assistant U.S. secretary of state, is set to head to the region on Wednesday. National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley described the tests as "provocative behavior." [8]

Japan:
Japan moved to a high-alert after the missile firings. Top Japanese officials, including Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe and Defense Agency chief ***ushiro Nukaga met at the prime minister's official residence to discuss a Japanese response. Abe later said that Japan would bring the launch issue before the UN Security Council. [10]

S. Korea:
Unification Minister Lee Jong-seok convened an emergency meeting to determine the objective of the missile launch, which is expected to prompt the U.S. and its allies to take punitive actions such as harsher economic sanctions against North Korea, ministry officials said. [9]

the way my friend describes the situation is bs0ng: theyre like the lil kids in the playground that thinks he's koo cuz he has the best pokemon cards

i dont know how all this is going to end but we have a serious problem going on in n. korea right now and its beggining to spread to the rest of the world. North korea has taken all the money intended to feed the starving/help the poor and put it into the military and missile development. how should this situation be handled? what should the USA and the rest of the world do about the north korea?

FULL INVASION!!! DROP THE NUKES AND WIPE 'EM ALL OUT!!!

why hasnt america already invaded there? and why hasnt the uk gone with to check up, and play nicities with the US?

is the tests done in australia? i heard there were some there and no one noticed for ages and it was the reason for japan (i think) massive earthquake...supposedly

That is just plain stupid.

i dont see why we shouldnt invade. n korea needs a major ass kicking so korea can be unified under one democratic govt. but dam i can see why we shouldnt, i feel sorry for bush, this is a horrible situation

It's not a question if US should or should not, its more like US can not.

Pffth

If we thought all the anit-war protestors are annoying now, can you imagine if we invaded Korea. :grinno:

because there are not enough natural resources to legitimize going over there........ don't believe the hype........ the US is not the world protector we claim to be........ wait till they have missiles that can make it to the north America........ Politics can be simplified if you view it in terms of business........ nuthin more nuthin less.........
