Im having some issues with my drain system. The tank has two 1 inch bulkheads, im using both as drains. The only way i could get enough flow, was to use 1 as full siphon, but its a nightmare to tune with the gate valve. I drilled a tiny hole on the pvc elbow inside the tank, to prevent the sump from flooding when the pump shuts off. But i flooded the sump anyway because the hole was clogged... i dont have any overflow box. Just my elbows and homemade strainer tube on the inside. Hope this makes sense.. please post pics or drawings how to make this failsafe
I'm not fully understanding the issue here. Is the return pump going full syphon on power loss and flooding the sump? or is the overflow still draining water into the sump on power loss? I can't tell by your pictures how you overflow setup inside the tank. Can you post some more pictures of the inside tank overflow and return as well as the return plumbing of how it enters the tank please.
