They're all thesame fish.
So what do we currently call this? A Faranah lap? A Guinea lap? or other?
Was it called something different in the past?

They look the same to me. Just they are in totally different tank environment. Different lighting and one water looks medicated, while the other isn't. One batch is more settled in, while other batch looks washed out. Both look like any typical sp.Dabola.

Thanks! After we had talked about the lap that was rehomed and you mentioned the head shape being weird, I had to find pics and yeah it was a little different. This lap seems to have a nice shape melon and has attitude!
I think he means E is supposed to be dabola the hybrid or new specie and F is endli dabola, in which case they may or may not be the same thing
Not directed to endli complex specifically. I chose to put in Dabola and sp. Dabola for a reason .These undetermined specie have been labeled this way from dealers all over the world. There are so many examples of these labels because not much is known about these .
The same uncertainty with the sp. Faranah complex. Huge difference in appearance for same collection locale. One may look like an endli while the other looks more like a lap for sp. Faranah
