They look the same to me. Just they are in totally different tank environment. Different lighting and one water looks medicated, while the other isn't. One batch is more settled in, while other batch looks washed out. Both look like any typical sp.Dabola.Polypterus sp. Dabola

Those links above containing photos comtain both. 1 is more green while other is on the tank brown side. Variables could turn green or brown dependant on lighting and substrate of course. I can send many more examples but derailing dmd thread. Lol

Thanks! After we had talked about the lap that was rehomed and you mentioned the head shape being weird, I had to find pics and yeah it was a little different. This lap seems to have a nice shape melon and has attitude!Lap looks great dmd
