I got a call from my wife this morning at work and she was crying so hard she couldn't talk. All I got out of her was she turned the water hose on to top the pond off last night because it was a couple of inches low and left the water on all night. She said all the fish died. I immediatly told her to dump the whole bottle of water conditioner into the pond and I was on my way home. Our pond is 2 1/2 years old and is 700 gallons. We had 8 Koi, a fantail goldfish, a comet gold fish, and 3 chinese hi fins. We have had the Koi since day one. 6 of the Koi have died and 1 is not looking so good. They ranged from 7 inches to 14 inches. Here is a couple of pics of the after math. Please learn from our mistake and stay with your pond when you are filling it.
