I have this incredible urge to break out into an operatic version of alice the camel. That is real cool and odd at the same time. Didn't know camels could do all that.

I remember the first time when my horses met my new beltie cattle herd for first time and the cows ganged up poor big percherons. Today the percherons hold their ground....for now till the herd get up to 40 head next year. In case you dont know what the beltie cow is, heres the picture.

I have only 3 percherons, two are black, one's "grey" which hes really white.

White horse named John because of his mustache on his lips.

Black one named Doc and his parnter named Chip, both in their 20's.

Comment on the cow, she was expensive, cost my grandpa $1,600 when she was a weanling, she is half Black Angus and half Belted Galloway.

My grandpa have been raising and training different breeds of draft horses but mainly of them are Percherons.

I just started working with a pair of black 18h Percherons... I think they're amazing.

I used to show jumpers & Equitation, and thought 16.x was average, and 17h was big .... I still can't get over those two....

I loved that liz, seeing that camel doing lead changes and half passes was funny (i think its half passes LOL). My mother used to have a percheron, she got him when he was six and was trained to pull but not to saddle, very soon she had him broke to saddle and over the years did level one and two dressage with him. He took to it fantastic. He was such a good boy too, his name was ty. She had to put him down last winter, he was in his 20's and had been going down hill for several months. She entered him in the dressage classes at the state fair or mi expo , he was the only non saddle horse there and they got second place (it was both of their first shows) you know how judging can be, shows how good he actually was. I really liked seeing this camel, interesting.

I have some pics of me riding ty on a trail camping trip at "the pidgeon natl. forest in MI. I will try to find them and scan them into the computer to show you. It will take a while though.
