I'm still amazed by their temperment... I love it!!

I grew up showing jumpers and equitation mostly on somewhat psycho TB's, then started with WB's which were great because they were a lot more calm and laid back. These two are awesome... it's like nothing gets to them... which is good, because I'd hate to deal with something that big in freak out mode :nilly: (like the Selle Francais I rode, who despite having done grand prix all over the country for most of his life, just KNEW that the boogeyman resides in 55 gal drums, and in order to save yourself one must whip a 180 and take off as fast as possible!! ... unless the drum was under a jump... then it was just part of the jump! All i know is i raised QH and Belgians... when a foal QH was born you took your life in your hands until you finished the imprinting etc.. and calmed the baby down... but belgians were born tranquil.... laid back.. i love those draft babys.... so anyway i understand... we boarded a few racehorses and they have them so high strung that they cannot go in or out of a metal gate without running...
