I found some bricks that are very narrow. About 1.5" high that are divided into three sections that form caves. They look like they would make awesome pleco caves if their depth were to be cut down some. They currently look to be about 1.5"H X 2" wide per cave (x 3) but the over all pieces are about 15" wide. Is regular brick inert? Should I worry they may leech undesirable chemical/ compounds into my water? I don't know if brick formula is close to terra cotta but I see people use that all the time. I ran into a butt load of these. The caves would be in groups of three horizontally. What do you my fellow hobbyists think or have to contribute?
