I am sure that REPUTED websites pull that info out of thin air. Just because YOU haven't talked to a person who personally saw a jag reach a size larger than 7" doesn't mean it can't happen. I see your point, but your logic is flawed.

Regardless, the jag isn't suited for such a small tank.

You cant trust websites on the net all the time. Ive read plenty of times wrong info. Info that is wrong with max size of other species, wrong info on care etc.

I read alot of info on the net, as much as I could find on some species, some species dont have alot of info on the web. Ive noticed that some sites copy-cat eachother with the info they write.

I get what you are saying, but personally I like to ask aquarists who can tell me personally about a size/care. It depends on species like I say, though.

Asian bumblebee catfish-- semi active will swim around the tank
SA bumblebee jelly catfish-- real lazy but has a monster look
Hoplo catfish-- active like a cory and colorful...

Never had much luck with glass cats in a community tank. Very shy and non-competitive, will starve to death if they have to fight for food.
srsly mine rip food out of my other fish mouths!

can't think of any pare... at least yung available dito sa pinas...corys lang siguro talaga..
dasig mag dako mga catfish pre.
