I think the key to Mav's success this year is Chandler. We haven't had a decent center. All the centers in the past 20 plus years were not very good. MOst are slow and outrun by smaller forward and guards.
Chandler is very quick. His defensive mindset elevates the rest of the team.

more important then decent athletic ability chandler gives them heart...they're not quite as soft with chandler. hell, chandler said himself before he joined the team he thought the mavs were extremely soft and he loved playing them when he was on the hornets
