it doesn't matter what day they played....the miami heat with lebron james and dwayne wade is not a team that our team should've had trouble getting up for. i can't make excuses for them for either one of those games. What i can do is look at the individual match ups and say that miami can give them fits. We're not use to teams having any type of advantage on the wing and ron artest and kobe are not greater then dwayne wade and lebron james on the wing on EITHER side of the floor. imagining them in a best of 7 just gives me nightmares. just be careful what you wish for. kobe losing to lebron and wade in the finals would DESTROY his legacy

It's either gonna be the Lakers or the Thunder in the NBA finals.
 
honkball, interesting, i'm a baseball junkie but never heard of it being refered to honk ball. i'mma start using it now

they survived a much more difficult western conference playoff schedule and made it all the way to the finals. i think you'd fall apart long before you made it that far if it was a chemistry/age problem.

you telling me those boys with 2 hungry players in payton and malone who had both made it to the finals but lost couldn't muster enough IN THE FINALS? They weren't worried about their legacies either?

i just find it amusing how we just throw away that season and forget about the horrible horrible failure that should not have happen. let's just sweep it under the rug so to speak

Actually, only one hungry play, because Malone was out on injury... How do we go from "destroy legacy" to this debate? How do we go from beating the best to disgruntled teamates?
 
jin...easy, you said how can said coaching staff be beaten in the playoffs by team with little experience...you asked, i answered = )

isn't danny crawford the same ref that the spurs have a beef with too? it's clearly a texas thing and not a cuban thing. i think he's the same ref that has tossed nice guy tim duncan in a playoff game

the lakers better right the ship tonight or i'm buying a CP3 jersey!
 
oh, one more note on the mavericks, they have a reputation of being soft, even tyson chandler their starting center says he thought they were soft before he joined them so it's no surprised they're worried about who's officiating
 
just finished my playoff routine

Before every lakers playoff game, i put down 24 three pointers and 24 free throws for good luck. sank 11 threes in a row so it should be a good night
 
11? I went 16 in a row one time and 23 free throws in a row. I only tried the free throw thing a few times. my cousin had busted 14 threes in a row and he said i'd never be able to beat that. so i hit 16, lol

damn, i miss those days,................ those days where i actually have time or the will power to go play a sport
 
give me a spotter and i could easily do more but getting your own rebounds throws off your rythme. i'd easily do 20 plus if we were doin "around the world"

yea, we did bet, it was actually around the time when the second lord of the rings movie came out, he paid for my ticket, haha
