Let's give Freemen a few weeks and see how he pans out. I think this could possibily be a way to keep him off the field without embaressing him. Let him get some time to learn the plays and get some pratice time in and see what happens then. I'll give him the benifit of the doubt for now.

The GIANTS should have named him game MVP, they couldn't have won without him;)

so you think he's not faking but that they're pulling him off the field with a great built in excuse though?

I did watch the game and what I said remains. I saw quite a few throws that were so bad they looked like throw aways. And no, you don't need a playbook to complete a pass to a wide open target, just like streetball.

i agree, i did see some route confusion but i saw far more over throws on straight routes or curls where it was obvious where the receiver was suppose to be. he was probably just pressing.

Does it seem so far fetched? His preformance was less than steller weather it was due to lack of preperation, nerves, skill only time will tell.

the timing is what makes me question it. i know concussion syndromes can show up at any time but how often do you see a signal caller bring them up 2 days after the hit? it feels too good to be true to me. oh well, i'm hoping he comes back in 2 weeks when the nerves calm down and he's more familiar with the players and playbook and proves he's still got it. i'm rooting for the guy

I don't think I made my self clear, I don't think "he" is faking it. I don't think he has a concussion either. I think the team is using this story to mask benching him so as not to embaress him.

And themselves for that matter. I agree, Tom. I think the kid has a lot of growing up to do mentally and football wise. I mean, who smiles when they make a bad throw?

Oh so they're all in on the fix? Makes sense

All I'm saying is he hasn't been there like 2 weeks. They start him and he is stuck with 53 pass attempts while AP only got 14 touches... does anybody see this going any differently. Plus 2 fumbles on offence not related to freeman. Special team miscues all game. But freeman remains the scapegoat. Personally I thought it was stupid they even signed him. I had him pegged for Oakland or Freakville. Both of which would have been longterm minded, not a quick fix like the vikings wanted...
