I went to the website and this made me chuckle. This is straight out of Deuce Bigalow
Newport aquarium is great. I've been there twice now and one of my fave things about it is the big room with different types of jellyfish. Each tank has an ornate frame around it so it feels like you are in a museum with jellyfish as the art on the wall.
I'm planning a trip to the Atlanta aquarium that opened up last week. It now boasts being the largest public aquarium in the world with 8 million gallons of water
That blows the Shedd aquarium away in size and the Shedd is huge.
I went to the Shedd last month and wanted to stay longer after 5 hours of blissful fish viewing until they threw us out at closing time.
Here's a pic I took of the Shedds midas/devil tank.
While viewing this tank, there was a woman next to me who exclaimed to her husband "These fish are stupid! They all bumped their head on the glass!"

i have been to newport awile back when it first opened.. wasnt to empressed.. but ripleys aquarium in the smoky mountains in gatlinburg,TN i liked.. big sharks nice ,sea turtle ,and a stingray petting area.. wasnt able to get near the ray area but the whole thing was nice..

No doubt< I want to take a trip for a few days to Georgia to go to that aquarium. Since I live in Vancouver thou its a little pricey and far to go all the way for jsut an aquarium but we shall see! Our aquarium is old and has the same exhibits for the almost 25 years i've been alive! I still go all the time thou
What I want to know is which is the best aquarium for cichlid displays. I want to see some really nice big cichlid exhibits!
