How many people a year are killed by vending machines?
  1. #23 – Vending Machines. 37 people were killed trying to get a snack from a vending machine from 1978 to 1995. That's an average of 2.18 deaths a year, making this cause of death WAY more likely than shark attacks.
 
now there are folks out there that read this and say. We need to do away with vending machines, they killen folks , thats 37 lives that did not need to die. I prefer to think of it as the Darwin effect.

Did the deaths go up or down in the 20 years since? It's obvious we need to overhaul vending machines. We have those things in school with our kids???? Sign my petition to get them removed
 
is it the vending machine that kills people?

or the food in the vending machines?

plus vending machines don't kill people, people kill themselves
 
shark is in the water, you are in the water? no shark killed anybody walking down the street and no vending machine tipped itself over on you. point taken tho:)
