He's gonna make a thread. I started this life style change same time as sumo. We troll each other to keep us on track. I'm however less open to the idea of sharing it with Mfk. Be cool if serious people jumped in. Might encourage me to share my journey

Thats cool my wife as the fitbit and the nike version. Im gonna try it when i get cleared for extensive walking.
So this is dinner...the rest of the savages are eating chinese take out. Figure i will do this for breakfast and lunch then have a sensible dinner (what ever that is) what do you guys think ?

That's a great start. I don't know what to suggest but I've put plenty of veggies in my diet and eat fish weekly.

Just remember, don't kill yourself starving. It's a life style change, we're not on a crash diet. Keep youself fed, small healthy portions. My kids had pizza for dinner which looked SOOO good but I had roast chicken.

See, this is what I refuse to do. 1, if I do it once I'll likely do it again. 2, I'm working too hard and sacrificing too much to backslide

I had to entertain a guest last weekend and only then had to eat food I wouldn't otherwise eat myself because we had a potluck gathering. Exceptions like that may come up once in a while, but I'll be damn if it's just a meal in my own house on a regular day
