the term terminated, funny how that word has replaced fired.

I dowt that. you can not put that many folks in prison and expect to be able to never have them come in contact with each other.
Tell that to the powers that be where I work.

I spent 20 years firing folks, now when i let some one go, I have a form, CIP form, I have a PA form, and I have an exit interview before I request there badge and have security escort them to there locker, uniform shop and out the door. I never say the word fire, we are terminating you for xxx reason.

I use to say, get your tools, sorry but your fired I have no use for you.
good luck at your next job.

Another one is "separation from employer".

and now days its dang hard to fire some one if you have not done documentation. or HR is going crawl up your arse.

ya, thats another one, but thats a milder form. separation is more your a good guy/girl but you do not have the knowledge per say to do the job you where hired for.

in the past 3 years i have let a few folks go that I hired as a grounds teck, and they just not have knowledge to do the job. on there pan i put i would hire this person again, but at a lower position. or any other position with in the casino that would be entry level,

termination means never hire this person.

termination means never hire this person.

At my job seperated and terminated are the same. But i know what you mean
