There is video footage of Lochte and his counterparts going through a metal detector at some point after the alleged incident and handing over their belongings which included wristwatches, wallets and other valuables
yup, supposedly only had badges. but again, the story between the 3 swimmers do not match up is the issue. not that it is that big of an issue IMHO. Rio aint the most trustworthy place whither dealing the locals or the law enforcement.
its also interesting that none of the swimmers reported it to either local authorities or to the Olympic officiates, it was his mother that reported it after talking to him. he told her he was robbed. he never actually reported it himself.
its also intersting that he would not talk to any reporters or press about it, only interview was by bush on a cell phone when he ran into him on the beach. And it did not sound very convincing and rather self serving, as in every one layed on the ground as asked but he said I was not going to do that. right along with the gun to the head after being calked and said what ever man. again comes across as fishy.
Lol and now the story has blown up in their faces and has caused them to be detained in a foreign country.Lochte seemed to know to get the heck from down there as soon as possible.
