I wish more people voted for Johnson, not that he ever had a chance of winning, but if he hit a certain percentage of the votes (I believe it's 5%) then it would have opened up the next presidential race for a third party.

I'm sorry, in my view the 2 party system is broken and has been for quite a while. Look at the choices we've had for president for quite some time now. Adding at least one more might have helped things. It might not have, but at this point I think we need to at least try.
 
Agreed 2 party system is a shame i feel the many of the established politicians are on the same side and only "appear" to disagree.

I can see that point of view. Many of the people that i discussed it with have no issues with him and feel the fear is mostly driven by the media. For me i beleive in man and women marriage. Doesnt mean i look down on lgbt or would let my beleifs interfere with doing my job hopefully they will take the same approach

Good. Now maybe, just maybe, both parties might work together to get a real health care bill passed.
