Thats awful. Well look on the bright side, you may have gangsters as neighbours but at least the weathers been hot today! 107F you said. If we added up all the temperatures throughout the year i don't think we'd get to 107F in the uk. We have reasonable neighbours but ****e weather, haha.
If our summer is anything like the last 2 which were record breaking cool summers...I'm ready for it. Most of the time we have at least 3 months of 100+. Last 2 summers it didn't hit 100 until half the summer was over. August is our hottest month. Last August it only hit 100 about 6 times and even had 1 day when the high was only 77. I was shocked how cold our summers are becoming.
I went to florida once and that was the hottest place i've ever been. The air conditioning was on in the car and the outside temp was showing as 110F. When we got out of the cool car and that heat hit me i seriously thought i only had minutes to live! Haha.
Back in 2005 or 2006 it was 114. My wife was at walmart buying a blanket(for winter). I was like WTF? How can you think about being cold later?
