I watched that happen live. no way they alive before it hit the water. not a chance. and ya, they where in the the thing.

now for a off color joke, what color where Christa McAuliffe`s eyes?
I had a couple tasteless jokes related to the accident

At the time I was a bit shocked by it, my sister was working a NASA monitor (seen the room with a bunch of folks on monitors, she was one of many), she did 20 years air force then went civil service. Any ways the launch was a give in. they go up, do their thing and bla bla bla.

ohh, and her eyes where blew.

The conspiracy bit seems right up there with those who claim that the landing on the moon was faked and never happened.

Its all based on the same crap, the folks feeding the information to you are lying. The fact that they have no proof of that does not matter. Logic does not matter. Just the troll argument matters. long as they can keep that going? they have some kind screwed up social life.

hello; back in the 80's I filled out the long application for the "teacher in space" ride on the shuttle. I was turned down. I felt a bit bad about it for a while. My school was closed that cold morning, I think it was February, so I watched the launch on the TV. Did not feel quite so bad about being turned down anymore.

Probably a coincidence, but part of the application was to make a plan for something educational to do on the shuttle during the ride. Bear in mind this was before I had a computer or any internet to do research with so I did not have a good idea of what was possible. I proposed a series of demonstrations in free fall. Pretty basic stuff so I figured it was too simple to be acceptable. I did see this was done some time later on the space station.

Maybe you'll get another chance to go to space. I am to young to remember any of this.

You know, I usually avoid CNN because you can tell how left slanted they are. But my gawds, Fox is so far slanted right, they've fallen and can't get back up.

Meh, I think of the left as going back, or retarded. My opinion is CNN is too retarded.
