Warning to all dog owners.

Xylitol - found in artificial sweetener, often found in sugar alcohol is poisonous to dogs. It triggers their body to release insulin often resulting in their deaths in a hour. This ingredient is totally harmless to humans.

Hello; While I do not know the details as yet the linked story does warm my heart at this point. Seems a criminal kidnapper got what he deserved and at no taxpayer expense. Yes Virginia sometimes violence is the answer.
My guess being soon some one will come up with a spin about how the car jacker is the real victim. Maybe that he was "just" trying to steal a car to get money for drugs or something. That maybe he did not know the kids were in the car which is pretty dumb. That by leaving the keys in the car thee mom "invited " the thief to steal her kids and car. Maybe something I do not yet imagine. All BS piled high and deep to me.

I do hope no charges will be filed against the people who stopped this kidnapping and saved those kids.
Maybe against the mom who left her 7 month old in the running vehicle to go chat with her baby daddy but other than that, yeah

Hello; Seems quite a stretch but you found something. I think there were three kids all told so maybe not so dire depending on the age of the other children. Still does not excuse the thief in any way just made his ability to do a crime more simple. Nice try tho.

I'm not into violence but am happy to see this. Enough nonsense and the people finally make a stand. I wonder what was going through the thiefs mind when he realised the beating wasn't going to stop and this was the end of the line for him?

They should make people who leave their kids in the car with the keys in the ignition and car running do a few days in jail. That is the dumbest thing anybody can do in this time and age.

It's highly illegal here. In summer there's always news reports of people leaving kids locked in a car in 35C degree+ heat. Once a kid died because their mum left them locked in the car in the middle of summer all afternoon because she went to the casino! She ended up in jail thankfully but it still happens all the time.

Yes here in the US as well. Most cases parent will say I forgot the baby was in the vehicle. Also get the idiot parent go into the store to shop for hours without the infant or toddler. When there is a death there is serious consequences.

Having a 4 year old kid I can see why you would be tempted, even getting petrol becomes a hassle but once again people should really have more sense.

Yes true but not only car jacking. Pedophilia is a increasing problem here the pedophile is always on the lookout for easy target.

Hello; A lot of assumptions being made here so I will make a few also. Might be the car was left running so the AC would be on for the three kids only one of which was an infant. My assumption is the car was in sight of both parents and why the father was able to react quickly. Might be one of the children is old enough to be trusted not to put the car into gear among other things. Might be the kids in the car was a very safe situation in most respects other than having a criminal decide to step in.

It is fascinating in some respects the conversation has migrated to focus on how bad the parent(s) are. I will keep a focus on the justified end of life for the car jacker/kidnaper. I do get that it is not a smart thing to leave the keys in a car. Nor is it wise to have the car running if you are a distance away. But even so the thief is the one at fault here.

As to what the thief was thinking while being beaten to death, I can not even guess. It would not bother me too much to learn it was sheer terror. I feel fortunate to live in a state where I can actively protect my property and be within the law. I do feel for folks in places where the law expects them to actually retreat while someone steals from their home. I have heard the homeowner is expected to climb out a window to avoid a confrontation. Oh well.
