that was a pretty good read. I read most of it and skimmed thru some. but yes, I did find that very interesting.
his reasoning and views I agree with. he hit the nail on the head on a lot of things.
but ultimately, I disagree with the service charge. I don't like that it's automatically being taken out. it just so happens that he's made it work for his business and his particular employees. which is great for him, but I still disagree with it. but I like the fact that this guy's main focus is to give everyone base pays PLUS provide quality service.
but the core problem is what it's always been. customers expect to be treated like royalty and they feel like they have control in rewarding or punishing poor service while employees expect to be tipped handsomely for their quality service and will hold back if they feel cheated. the whole concept is just ridiculous and funny to me.
but if I had to choose one system over the other, I go with this guy's system. all the way
I especially liked the part about how multiple men complained because not tipping took away the control they had over their waitresses, bet I can guess what those guys are like at home
just wait till this November ...not only will I be to lazy to shave but probably will not be able to reach my legs ^_^ those pics are going be sooo pretty, Kelly will be jealous again.
This is why I will be absent from mfk in november.
