Official Off Topic Discussion Thread #1

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
As others in this thread have said im VERY opinionated and have bit my tongue hard on the various threads but just had to comment on this. The person who seems to pop up each time and escalate it, is one that appears untouchable, so whats the point in reporting it? I respect u guys, and am friends with a handful of u mods, plus a mod on one site myself(was two for awhile) so plz dont think this is mod bashing. But we can report it all we want but one main guy (and not david) push it to the next level and nothing seems to be done.

Personally I would LOVE guns to return (i got a new one as a gift, plus to celebrate my divorce, or maybe to try and cheer me up, im gonna get a 12ga SxS and tax stamp it to 10" barrels) and id rather discuss them with people here, old friends and people I respect quite a bit, but honostly it was one guy that escalated it to that level and I dont see it happening. Sure we have a couple minor scuffles here and there, but that was an issue we didnt seem to have too bad until again, that one guy.

I hope this post makes sense. For the first time in 3 weeks, me and a coconut flavor friend are hanging out.

Pm me to discuss farther if ud like.

Could it, by any chance, be me you are implying ?

If not, my bad.Sorry.

If so, bring it out in the open.

Well, to get this back off topic does anyone ever pick things up at thrift stores like Goodwill or Salvation Army? If so, what is your line for things you won't buy.

I mostly get random house things, cute things I find for my "When I move out" stash. I am slowly collecting neat glass/stone things to redo the BG on the 55. Maybe save them for when I can do something bigger like a 120. Haven't decided yet.

Skivvies - +1!! I did get a couple nice pairs of jeans there once though.

Im curious, is it true that a. You find designer things? And b. the prices are equal to kmart or Walmart for things?

Back in the 90s me and some friends came into free Tom Jones tickets so we hit all the thrift stores and scored some leisure suits.

Woofy -

I've heard of people finding "designer" clothes. Never done an extensive search for any myself. If it fits, I wear it. That's my motto. No one sees the tag when my fat arse is coverin it up......

I would say prices are cheaper for most things. Most of its used, you know? Its like a garage sale, dollar here, dollar there....

one persons junk is another persons riches...... i love old unsual things.
