  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
His name is Quincey and he's a 4 1/2 yr old purebred English Bulldog, his owners are being forced to give him up so they're only asking $50 for him. I'm going over tonight to check him out.

WONDERFUL. He's got such a sweet expression! hope it works out.
I was gonna recommend adopting a dog "in need". Rescue organizations are everywhere now, and lots of them keep dogs in regular homes instead of kennels, so they really know what a dog is like to live with. they tend to be very honest about temperament & behavior evaluations.

I was looking into rescue organizations, most pets that I've ever owned were rescues. I was actually about to apply with the illinois french bulldog rescue and illinois english bulldog rescue, so when I saw this guy get posted only 15 minutes before I checked the marketplace I knew I had to email on him right away. And since it's through an internal workplace only craigslist I feel better about the dog not coming from shady circumstances.

:-) I'll be looking for your update. I've got a couple dogs from rescues so I know what it's like waiting for "the meeting". My big girl is 15 yrs old now, but getting weak. best dog we've ever had, and that's saying a LOT. I love her dearly.

I've always wanted one of these but it will have to wait, with 2 basset hounds I don't need any more tripping hazards.

He's such a sweet dog! I spent an hour and a half over there getting to know him, a few aggression issues I'll have to break because he gets overly possessive about things but other than that he's a great dog. I bring him home after work tomorrow.

CONGRATS!
Now we get to see who's more stubborn, you or the bulldog?! Lol.
Give him some settling in time, before you start taking away his toys ;-) If you do it right away, I'll expect pics of you chewing on them!
