I'm in a bit of a conundrum. My work car is a 02 grand am gt. Looks great for its age, engine and trans are great except that there is a cylinder misfire which occurs in the first 30 seconds of starting so once I loeave the driveway all is good. I can afford a new car but since I almost never use the car other than commuting I dont care to much, seat comfy and stereo solid. I'm not sure at what point I should just buy a new car. And to convolute issues more I drive about a hour each way so even though its a work car, I do spend a lot of time in it so do I buy bare minimum I find acceptable or go up a notch knowing how much time I'm in the car and that I'm keeping it for as long as its reliable.

It's like this with time off as well, we don't get paid time off and I make more than enough to take more time off but knowing how much money I'm passing up its hard to take a day off unless I have something big planned.
