Speaking of bowling alley, anyone remember the movie, "King Pin"? One of my fav :)

xraycer, do they have "big ball bowling" around you now? Back in the day, Nashua only had candlepin bowling (i think Leda Lanes/Keggler's Den are still open?) and the nearest "real" bowling was in Manchester...

Leda lanes is still open in Nashua and doing well. I went there a few years back for one of my son's classmate's bday party. I believe they have large pins as well, but I can't be positive. There's a place on rt38 on the Salem/Windham line and there's Brunswick in Lowell. Both are really nice and large pin bowling. Best part, for me anyway, is that all these places are smoke-free....seems to be the norm now.

Yea, back in the day Leda was 100% candlepin for sure... isn't the ban on smoking in public places nation wide? I certainly appreciate that, also.
 
I agree FM, trees starting to turn, we have our first fall system coming in to night. I am ready for a hard freeze to kill off all the little flies. And I am so done with the baskets at work and the irrigation system this year. 3 boxes and 96 zones that I am fed up with. not having a tech and not able to replace the "I ate it on my motorcycle FMLA" tech has made me very pessimistic this summer.

Maybe go home and get my WC out of the way. I'd go to the local watering hole, but I bet that get the gf started....
