xraycer, do they have "big ball bowling" around you now? Back in the day, Nashua only had candlepin bowling (i think Leda Lanes/Keggler's Den are still open?) and the nearest "real" bowling was in Manchester...Around me, bowling alleys are sorta making a comeback. Todays bowling alleys are no longer "dives" like days of old. I don't bowl much, but when I do, its always been a good time, every time!
Leda lanes is still open in Nashua and doing well. I went there a few years back for one of my son's classmate's bday party. I believe they have large pins as well, but I can't be positive. There's a place on rt38 on the Salem/Windham line and there's Brunswick in Lowell. Both are really nice and large pin bowling. Best part, for me anyway, is that all these places are smoke-free....seems to be the norm now.xraycer, do they have "big ball bowling" around you now? Yea, back in the day Leda was 100% candlepin for sure... isn't the ban on smoking in public places nation wide? I certainly appreciate that, also.Leda lanes is still open in Nashua and doing well.
