does not make sense to have a bunch of folks walking around with assault rifles, in a crowd full of protesters, or any large charged up crowd.
public protest is no place to be walking around and openly expressing one's 2A rights.Law abiding citizen or not.

This begs the question, to me, if should such a ban be in place, would it apply only to the area of the convention? My guess being that many of the anti-gun folks would want the ban to be city wide.
