Yes that's the only negative about Kentucky Bluegrass unless your yard is shaded and you water properly.

Oh, it's dying from heat, not cold. Out here the bermuda dies off in the cold and we over-seed winter ryegrass.

Most of ours is hybrid fescue, but it gets invaded by bemuda. If you keep the fescue tall and seed in the rye, the bermudagrass stays under the radar.

This is a system we don't see much. I drew just this one building with it in 45 years.

These are like styrofoam Legos. You put rebar and reinforcements in and fill them with concrete..

This is a local HS science building.

You can see the black plastic brackets that hold the rebar up until the concrete sets.

Masons hated this system because you cannot step or lean on the styrofoam, unlike a block wall job.
 
Glad the kids released the stugeon and hope that it did not eventually die.
