Rich - how about you - where are you? What zone?

Chub - your selection just went up to about 30 species of Palms that will do fine outside for you, since you are in almost a full zone warmer than me. If you google "Cold Hardy Palms" you will see that there are actually quite a lot, including some that may surprise you.

I have about 35 species of palms in stock, but I do not pay attention to their individual cold hardiness since I don't plant them outside, although some are cold hardy.
 
Thanks prawn. The problem here is more the moisture and how long the winters are, only gets really cold once every 5 years or so.

Rich is in Philly I believe.

Any ideas on this one prawn? My tortoise loves eating the petals so I wanna make sure it isn't slightly poisonous or something.
The fruit look like tiny pomegranates.

Nice garden! Nice selection you have planted in there!
That "bush" with the red flowers is either a flowering Quince - Chaneomeles, OR as you said, a dwarf Pomegranate.
If the fruit do not look like the Quince fruit - then yes; it is in fact a dwarf pomegranate. (Punica granatum Nana.)
 
My Garden is pretty big; I'll Show more when eveythings growing, spring only just started here :)

Thanks! I do not think it is a quince; are pomegrenates that cold-hardy?

And yes ; the dwarf pomegranate (as you can see) does great under your conditions.

Rich - You are a 6b, borderline 7. You, and Chub can pretty much grow the same things. Me, I can't grow quite as much. For example; the pomegranate (dwarf) would do fine for you, Rich, as it does for Chub, but not for me.
 
I love how cheap plants are over in the US. Currently looking for a large number of a certain plant but when 10 bulbs are 7 bucks thats not really doable.

Woah, are you in Maine, or...? Cause that's pretty cold.
 
Chub - feel free to PM me (or send me a message at my website) and I'll be happy to see what I can do to help you find those bulbs.
$7 for 10 could be a steal, depending on what the bulbs are - or they may be the $3 for 10 type. It all depends on which types you're talking about. For example, there are certain bulbs that can sell for hundreds of dollars for one bulb.
Close! I am in Massachusetts, on the NH border, and 15 minutes from Maine, on the coast.
 
Cold out there, how do you run an exotic plant Business in such a cold place? Lol :D

Hyacinthoides non-scripta is the plant in question. Do you know if they multiply slowly or quickly, as that would help determine if I buy and the amount?
