Nice terrarium Homer.I was in a fish store earlier and was tempted to purchase a really nice picher plant.

^ For some reason i don't have much luck with pitcher plants... the only pitcher plant i have going is what seems to be a slightly smaller species of Neptune, although not sure exactly what its called... had some other ones before, but probably coz its so damn hot where i leave them, pitchers don't tend to last long, although the rest of my carnivorous plants seem to be doing pretty well such as my Drosera, VFT etc...

I didnt get the plant because I wasnt up to seeing it eventually wither and die which is probably what would wind up happening....BTW is that a black widow spider in your terrarium?

^ Hahahahaha, good eye that you spotted that... yeah, it is a black widow, but not a real one... got it as a gift from someone coming back from Australia... think the whole thing was made out of wood and then painted, but looks pretty real...

That makes for a nice display and I can imagine the reaction of some guests when they come over and see that.

Wow,sounds like you are growing enough to eat salad until the winter. What is that in the last photo?

Those are avocado seeds. Some people prepare them like this to make them grow roots.
Interesting,I do recall seeing something similar in the past but I don't remember what kind of seeds they were.
