Woot! A rope! :)

Yeah, like twenty said, ropes are WC. My ropes also took a while to eat prepared food consistently but they did eventually with the bloodworm juice soaked pellet method.

That being said, they went nuts over chopped silversides, catfish, krill, and live earthworms (chopped up). I do think it's good to feed "real" food now and again to polys.

So should I be concerned. Added the two new guys. Both are slightly smaller than the first one and more brown. The first is bright green. The two new guys have been fighting pretty fierce. Locked lips. Rolls. Seems to have calmed off. Had no idea they would be aggressive towards each other. I see no visible damage

Wow. Ive only seen that once and it was with my current ropes. The big female got tired of the attention of one of the males and bit his face and dragged him around for a minute. Other then that no. I had gotten 4 then added 3 more all just integrated fine no squables just" hey look at that peice of wood lets pack it like a clown car" "yeah fun!"

Well they were all huddled together in the corner this morning. Maybe just a hierarchy battle? Seemed to be thick as thieves this morning.

I put in a few thera a pellets just to make sure it wasn't food related. Didn't seem like any had been eaten last night. I'm going to hold off feeding for a few days and try again. See if I can get them to eat the pellets. If not I may need to think about frozen or live options. I just thought pellets were a better food source for them. Maybe growing my own red worms would be good?
