cetic forest is good.

I t may have been mentioned in the thread, but around 85'-86' this was all that need to be said! Terrible sound quality but you will get the idea quickly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lE7d7qCEmG0 Around this time the only thing that mattered to us kids was HOW FAST was the band, and Sodom with the exception of a couple of hardcore bands(DRI-MDC) was the absolute fastest thing on a record...Check out witching metal on the first album I believe tormented parents to no end with that....And my brother was in the other room with Black Flag, DK, Christian Death (friend of ours), DRI , Minor threat, Flipper ETC....Surprised they still talk to us....

Sweet video. a metal head and a punk for sons eh? poor parents haha

I never really got into the punk scene, just misfits, sex pistols, exploited and rancid. Recently I started listening to The Bronx, Wolfpack (remind me a bit of exploited) and Send More Paramedics

Nothing can compare to the bone crushing sounds of METAL though :headbang2

Some old school Exodus with the song Piranha in 1985 :headbang2 :headbang2

I'm pretty sure he's not with them anymore, as he was working with Marilyn Manson on the Golden age of Grotesque album, just wasn't sure if he was with the original KMFDM or if he joined in later with MDFMK. Not sure if he worked with Manson earlier than that or if he's still with them...The way Manson goes through members I wouldn't be surprised if Skold has left.

Personally I think Manson really screwed up letting John 5 leave, that guy is an amazing guitarist. I'm glad he's releasing stuff with Rob Zombie now, Rob seems to let John "explore" more than Manson did, and John5 just released a new solo album with an AMAZING cover of Welcome to the Jungle. It's all instrumental but it sounds like his guitar is singing the words.
