Monster is a thought, not a size. How many of these threads are we going to have. They all end up with the same results.
haha yeah, then Li pops in, says what monster really means, then everybody shuts up until the next thread :wall:

Im about to do a monster barb tank. Im using a 125 and plan on this-
-40 tigerbarbs
-10 green tigerbarbs
-10 albino tigerbarbs
-10 gold barbs
-10 cherry barbs
-8 rosy barbs
-4 spanner-t's

Is this Monster?

i basically exclude community fish and goldfish. anything that is in the aggressive category that needs 55 gallons or more is monster imo. or anything that will kill ur other fish or eat them i guess? haha

plan on a microglanas ingheri

they acctuly only get to 4ish inch not 6

i realy want to know how i have overstocked tanks

and how i need to fix the problem with 1 fish per tank

And the rest of the people viewing this thread would like you to drop it. If you two have problems and don't like each other, why don't you discuss it in PM's, instead of annoying people trying to read this thread.

ok

Some of you guys believe its the passion of the fish keeper, and I disagree partly. I think monster refers to something on a monster scale; Monster fish, monster tanks, etc. Someone who keeps 20 tanks is a monster fish keeper, even if they are all 10 gallons and all guppies. Or someone with a large tank and smaller fish. These are exceptinos to me. You guys know damn well when Li made this site, I dont think it was because he was passionate about monster guppies, and neither did the people who signed up. Im not saying people who keep small fish arent allowed here, I even keep some small fish.

Theres people who are passionate about fish, and are experienced/knowlegable. But guess what? Some of these poeple keep fish poorly too. Overstocking/carelessness etc.

This is jsut my opinion and all my posts have jsut been my opinion. I dont know why some poeple resort to insults and claiming others are wrong, when its only their opinion too.

LMAO, so some little kid who overetocks a 10 gallon with cichlids is a monsterfish keeper? All because he THOUGHT big? Anyway this is your guys opinion. Why do people think that their opinion is the definitive answer? IMO a thought doesnt equate to monsterfishkeeping.

THis is a debate, peopel post opinions. I dont see why some of you guys are getting mad and have to act like someone has to come in and side with you in order to make you feel like you won this debate. Very childish IMO.

where is this kid with a 10gal thats overstocking it with cichlids?
