hmm... I think I'll start a poll to see... what do you think is the line between small and large tank? Like what size is small but the next size up is considered big to you?

So if you keep guppies in a 10 gallon for 5 years, you are a monster fish keeper?
Oh heck yes. Anyone who can keep a guppy alive for 5 yrs is a Master Monster Fishkeeping in my opinion. Their knowledge and dedication would be nothing less than monstrous.

so if i only have

1 20gal with a 6inch convict and a 6" catfish
and
1 20gal with a fh

does that mean that im not a monster fish keeper ?

Dude, thats you guys contradicting yourselves. You guys said it matters about the fish keeper. The fish keeper is the monster regardless of fish size. Now I said what if its a noob keeping large fish, they are not a monsterfshkeeper, than what are they?
youre missing the point and choosing what you want to read. i am not a monster. other members are not monsters. dont take it literally LOL. like i said above, in post #14. monster refers to your passion and dedication, whats so hard to understand about that?

and who says a noob cant have a serious passion and dedication for fishkeeping? :screwy:

not according to PP. you must cancel your membership and check out immediately. kthxbye

These are all opinions. Its funny to me that you guys are using the word monster for a different reason. IMO the word monster was meant for people who are passionate about large/preadotry fish, that is why majotiy of this site owns them. DOesnt mean peopel who keep non-monsters arent allowed. IMO the word monster should not be used, another word is more suitable.

lol

my fish got more balls than most peeps and there fish

i definetly think that its the fish attitude not the tank size or the fi?sh size

guys what about exodons ? 3inch and beastly since there under 1ft than are they not monster ?

Well, I think having a big tank with giant fish is a waste... its the same effect as small tank with small fish... they just sit and hover all day. Whoopie!

Now a monster tank with hundreds of schooling fish... I think that awesome. Huge levels of activity!

This is an exception. I think anything kept on a monster scale would deserve the title monster. ANHone who keeps anything on a monster scale. But keeping 5 guppies in a 10 gallon is not monster even if you have been keeping guppies for 25 yrs. Thats laughable that peopel are going this route. I would call them something else other than monsterfishkeeper.
