Had a few people asking about my midas and Rtm from an older thread that I ended up letting go 4 or so months ago... and mentioned to FINWIN FINWIN I had a spare 75 gallon I kept plant cuttings in from the living room tank... I joked about kidnapping my Mota back, which I cant do sadly lol.. but the office where the 75 sits could be used and have something to look at when on the computer and doing work , so why waste a good tank... I went to my LFS that I had been to not long ago and spotted a beautiful CA Cichlid i had been interested in before..

I'll give a hint... they grow slow and are hyper aggressive they also are commonly called "mini _____".lol.... he only has the one male he put on hold for me until tommorow.. but has females hes trying to breed in the back of store and will let me know when hes going to sell them off after some pair up... or when he gets tired of them fighting and not pairing up lol whatever comes first... I cleaned out the tank and drained it... washed out sand (obviously not very well) and planted a bunch of the cuttings and leaving some floating

Here is a cloudy terrible picture of the tank right after I filled it up a bit... tommorow once its cleared up i will finish setup and top off the water and pick up my new buddy

I've never kept them but the tank looks good so far. Some of my fish leave things alone and others root around so much that plants can never really get established.

Rass Rass Ya I'm not sure how well the plants will do.. if they end up floating that's fine by me... these are hygrophila angustifolia which are very hardy and grow very easily so they can take a beating.. I also have alot of medium sized rock all around the base of the plants so it may help...

beau1990 beau1990 I just picked him up and am floating the bag... the reason I'm excited is because he had 2 males out for sale and both about 5 inches length.. so already a good size here is a pic of him in bag floating... he has a nice size hump already and good markings.. thanks for input everyone... will post more pictures when I little the beast loose
