Old 75...new beginnings

Most I have heard say 10 I ches for male grammodes... some say 12... since I have no real experience with them I guess time will tell.. I'll keep things updated weekly brother
so far so good! this little guy comes out alot actually! when i turn around from the computer hell come to a complete stop... maybe he watched too much jurasic park when he was younger and thinks im a t rex.. i dunno.. anyways lol, ive got a few videos of him.. im no damn good at taking video with my camera but here is one you can see his color is very nice.. lots of yellow/red in this guy... also the mollies didnt make it over night... so he had a good snack... im hopeing he will eat my prepared frozen food.
any suggestions as to how to try and feed him? i know hell run in his cave right as i get close.. should i drop food into the cave or let him try and sniff it in centre of the tank?
Too bad my camera battery died in the middle of me feeding him but I'll get it tommorow... I held the frozen peice of food near the bottom of the tank... (he was watching me the whole time sticking his head out of his cave)... until the peice defrosted enough so it would t float around... the wave maker in the tank will just blow the food to peices so I havto be slow and hold it down for 30 seconds or so
I sat back and he came out.. circled the food twice and then slurped it up... happy camper
I'm in love with this little guy! Saw him get close to snapping up the second molly.. but hes a bit slow lol.. thought they were both gone but saw the second one later in the day... here is a much better video of the grammodes I finally figured out the camera lol.... let me know what you all think
I have a 210 gal with a Tire track eel among others... I have mollies in there popping out fry every other day... was meant for the eel to show its predation and a never ending supply of food. . But the eel and others show absolutely no interest in them... I gave away a few of the adults but using what I have left for the grammodes and so far he shows interest... will probably only put a couple in once a week or 2 weeks for him to get some excersize and interactions within his tank
Do you know how they fare with catfish when they’re grown? I admire this fish from afar and want to get one eventually.
I do not... and not sure I would want to try it as I'm told and have seen the few videos available of them, some with tankmates and do not fair well with others... I'd assume some large catfished would be ok with them or large eel/ bichir etc. But again not 100% sure... I'm sure it depends o the own personality aswell as tank size... hides and so on
