i also have a group of molly in my 200 gallon... they were meant for the TT eel to show some natural predation... was hopeing theyd be a never ending supply of activity and food for the eel but she doesnt touch them... i put a couple one inch babys in this tank... see if hell snap them up

Looks good. I have read grammodes are painfully slow growers so getting a 5” male is a bonus. I kinda wanted one but the growth rate and people saying they are pretty shy pushed me away from them. I will be watching yours for comparison of what I have read.

Nice grammodes. Looks healthy to me.
These and istlanum are up there for my favorite ca species. Both super unique and gorgeous fish. My experience has been that they are slow growers and very shy towards people until large. But worth it once you grow out a large one. I think yours will appreciate all the plant cover. Will keep an eye out for updates!

Thanks LDPatton LDPatton and Gourami Swami Gourami Swami I think hes enjoying the cover right now... here is the promised video... sorry for **** camera skills and the music if it's not your thing haha...
So far so good hes out and about... I actually dont want a "wetpet" I want as natural as possible

Hes looking good. I dont really care for “wetpets” I like to see as close to a natural setting and behavior as possible but I do want to see the fish regularly as they go about doing what they do. I looked the grammodes back up and I either missed it before or I forgot how big they get. I was thinking 7 - 8” but they can get up to 12”. I will enjoy watching your fish develop.
