FX5.. They all use to eat guppies except the angel fish. They started eating market shrimp about 3 days ago..

also a canister filter will remove some amount of oxygen from the water because the bacteria must use oxygen from the water. it may be worth it to switch to a wet dry if the oxygen problems dont improve from removing the ammonia(as it will only get worse with growth).

Only 2 trays has bio media. 3rd one will be filled this Friday.


Water has changed, and some Dat's are in the surface, and some are back in their base(driftwood). I hope everything is fine. I have learned a huge lesson. I saw a few chunks of shrimp during the water change so I took them out.

Thanks to everyone that helped, seriously . I spent a grip of cash for this setup and actually broke because of this. It would break my heart if these babies died on me. Hopefully they're all okay.

Water changes make a big difference bro. at least one per week at 50%. glad your fish are getting better.
