It was an acrylic tank. I forget the company that made it but it was 3/4 acrylic but almost 3 feet tall so it should have been 1" inch. But this company was known for putting an extra strip along all seams on the inside to do cheaper tanks. I have learned a good lesson on not getting cheap tanks.
It wasnt too much work to clean up. The carpet in the basement is super thin, i just shopvaced all the water out of the carpet.
My wife called me and when i got home there was still about 10" of water in the tank so all the fish were fine.
Everything is dry already with all the fans and dehumidifiers. We are gonna get the carpet cleaned and start shopping for a new tank. Looking for another 4x6 or 4x8 if anyone sees one lmk
