Better use the simple fact that it'd be expensive to get an 8x3 then upgrade again to an 8x4

moe214 moe214 lol I think my wife is hedging that he will die before he out grows a 8x3. In all honesty I only know of one person that grew from small to 30in and that took 6 years. Do we know if anyone growing one to 3ft? All the big ones I've seen are imported.

vincentwugwg vincentwugwg i believe got his small. It's probably about 30" now. And yea the big ines are usually imported 90%+ of the time. And she probably is lol, I think that's what most do. Can't think of any other names off the top of my head. Wish green were still around. He'd be able to say how common it is on his side of the world and we'd be able to judge off of ideal conditions.

Good luck with the wolf Nzafi! I got mine from Wes about 3.5 years ago... the wolf grew rather quickly. At least from 12 inches to 24 inches in the first year but then it took another 2.5 years for the additional 6 inches of growth. I wonder if it would've grown more if I had kept it solo? hmmm...

vincentwugwg vincentwugwg thanks! Some folks report them growing faster if solo probably you can power feed. My guy is solo and has grown from 3in to 9in in about 6 months, which is the same growth you achieved though. I believe yours was solo for a bit before you through in your 3,000g or 4,000g tank.

greenerinks greenerinks know you are still hurting from your losses. You know if folks in Asia have had success growing aimara from babies to past 30in? I have only heard of large imports, but it could just be people don't keep them long enough.

On another note, I just got the fluorite I ordered so I can go ahead and clean up the tank and put the fluorite in it. My plumber is also coming this week to setup a second line for me to do my drip. If I am lucky the tank will be up and running by Sunday evening.

Sounds good. To add, I think the guy that had the large 2'+ aimara with his 2' armature in the 600g also grew his from a fairly small size. I always forget his username think it's fc, kno4te usually remembers for me lol

The 600 was 8x4'x30"But I believe it did have a leak then he moved it to the smaller 3' tank

Edit: I just read the post so yea. And 8-30" still good growth. Man that thing is thick wonder how it's doing.
